Welcome to Maryborough Special School. This school has a history of catering for students with a diverse range of abilities and specific educational requirements. We have a student enrolment of approximately 80 students from prep to year 12.
At Maryborough Special School our vision is to create a school, which meets the learning needs of our students, all of whom have special needs. This is achieved by building students' confidence in their relationships with other people as well as creating a safe, supportive and tolerant environment for students and preparing them to be active and reflective citizens.
We also strive to develop in our students the skill and desire for lifelong learning. Students are supported to become active in community, economic and political life.
Our school is divided into four phases of learning, including early years, middle years, senior years and transition.
